Tuesday And Ten-Hour Ride

okay, so i was typing up a story about today’s trip to a karen village in omkoi district. i also tried to talk about people’s lostness, God’s grace and forgiveness and how we tend to take it as granted. then i had to delete all of it because it deserves to be delivered in better manner. i am really tired. writing when exhausted isn’t the best idea.

just to give you an idea of how tired i am. my day started at 4:20am. i had been riding in a van for 10 hours today. the weather was super hot in the afternoon then, suddenly, the storm hit…and it was freezing. it is now 10:06pm. and i am coughing a lot (i was in the rain a bit today). so i should go to bed.

i will try to be better tomorrow. the photos will also be up as well.

what makes me smile today, though, are:

– the gorgeous view in the mountains

– the time spent with the people at church/ project, sponsors and children

– the karen songs from my friend

– God’s love
