Death

upon hearing  the death news, one forgets how to breathe and has to catch herself. it doesn’t matter whether she knows him or not. it’s tragic nonetheless.

death leaves one’s heart hollow. it is something she never knows how to deal with. it is cold and mysterious…just like when she tries to reach her hands into a huge box of nothing…trying to grasp an object…only reach the air.

death clutches at her inner core and yanks out a part of her heart. she is left wondering if there will be an end to the sorrow. she  cries herself to sleep. she tries to reason if there were anything that could’ve saved a life. she relishes the memories of the no-more.

alas, if death is all we have to live with…then life is nothing. empty. meaningless.

the mystery of death will remain until she steps across into another Realm…on that beautiful shore…where she finds the King of Life…who will give her the key to unlock the mystery.
