Prayer for Japan

everything is shockingly possible nowadays. i shouldn’t be surprised to hear of another gruesome tragedy in the world – the earthquake, the tsunami and the possible nuclear leak in japan as the last age is already come. but the news still threw me off-balance. another reminder of the human frailty and the omnipotent power of God.

how much can one country deal with such loss?

my heart and prayer go to the japanese. i don’t have money to buy airfare to join the relief team. but as peter spoke to the lame in acts 3:6 “silver and gold i do not have. but what i have i give you. in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.”

thus, this is my prayer for the japanese – in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.

Mink I dont want to be a prophet of doom but, if there is a nuclear situation (there is a possiblity of a full scale meltdown), Japan is lastplace you would want to be. In fact if a meltodown does in fact occur, Japan, Russia, China, Korea and most of the Southeast Asian countires could be rendered uninhabitable for the next 100 years. If thes happens it will make the book of Revelation seem like a picnic.

Gods people need to pray for wisdom for those who are attempting to cantain the leak and find a way to cool teh fuel rods indide teh reactors so that they wont burn through the reactor wall and escape into the atmosphere and the ground and the water.

Mink, I join you in your prayer, as Japan is going through so very much. GOD IS IN CONTROL!!! I praise Him for the answer to our prayers.

Mink, to add to my last post forgive me if I scared you I apologise profusely. What I described before can actually happen but that would be a worst case scenario. A vey small chance of that happeniing in that magnitude. It appears from what I have been hearing and seeing on the news reports over here in the US is that there is a chance of a meltdown but it will be more localized within Japan, but catastrophic nonetheless.

hey charlie, no worry. no need to apologize at all. sometimes media tends to give us panicking news. 😛 i’ve been following the news and hearing there was the 3rd blast and a fire from one of the power plants. i keep praying that japan will have the strength they need during this time of devastation and also God’s sufficient grace to cover all brokenness. please continue to lift God’s people up.
